Ball watches have recently become quite popular amongst the entry level swiss watches - this Engineer II Marvelight is no exception. It clearly draws its inspiration from the Rolex Datejust II without being a homage or a copy. It's famous micro gas tubes ensure the luminence will glow well through the night and it's truly built like a solid tool watch. The anthracite grey dial is truly beautiful to look at under lighting and the screw down crown ensures 100m water resistance. It's really a great start into the watch hobby and an everyday watch, you can wear it to the office, outdoors and even on your next adventure. At the price we're selling it, the buyer will be getting it on a steal - more than 50% of the retail price on a practically great conditioned watch.

  • The first thing came to my mind wearing this watch is how solid and well built it is; definately durable for any active person's lifestyle. Nevertheless, the simple yet dressy design of the markers on the sunburst grey dial complements pefectly with the sharp hour and minute hands. The dial as a whole dampens the 'tough looks' vibe given by the exterior of the watch, thus allowing it to be for a watch for a more formal dinner for example. I was able to wear it to the office, for a dinner date and even on a casual Sunday with the children on the bracelet alone. Never once did it feel out of place. Without a doubt it's one of those do anything, go anywhere watches - no strap change required!
